While its design is rooted in hunting, the Upland jacket is fairly versatile enough to wear appropriately in other casual situations and in most cases can be treated like a regular sportcoat if done with care. One of my more favorite combinations for this time of year with my grey wool version is to pair it up with a fair isle or black v-neck sweater and tie.
